About Me

Hi, I’m Seniha — the writer, explorer, and curious mind behind Everlasting Quest.

Everlasting Quest began with a lifelong curiosity about the world—its places, cultures, languages. What started as a love for travel has grown into something deeper: a way of understanding people, places, and perspectives through lived experience.

Travel has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. From early journeys in childhood to backpacking across Europe during my university years, and later solo adventures and group travel experiences, each trip has shaped how I see the world—with curiosity, openness, and a desire to go beyond the surface. For me, travel has never been just about checking landmarks off a list; it’s about understanding the atmosphere of a neighborhood, the rhythm of a city, the meaning behind traditions, and the stories that make a place unique.

My connection to Cyprus has played an important role in shaping that perspective. Growing up with Cypriot roots gave me an early appreciation for cultural identity, heritage, hospitality, and the ways history and geography influence everyday life. Cyprus taught me that places hold layered stories—and that understanding a destination often begins with understanding its people, traditions, and food.

My perspective has also been shaped by living and studying across different countries, including the United States and France, experiences that deepened my appreciation for cultural nuance, adaptation, and what it truly means to build a life across borders. These chapters of my life taught me that travel is not only about movement, but also about learning how different societies think, live, connect, and define everyday life. They continue to influence how I experience the world today: with curiosity, humility, and a strong sense of global belonging.

Academically and professionally, my background is in international studies and commerce, spanning global business, economics, policy, strategy, business development, and cross-cultural environments. That foundation influences how I travel and write: I naturally look at destinations through both a personal and analytical lens—observing not only what makes a place beautiful, but also what makes it function, evolve, and feel distinct.

Language has always been another passion of mine. I’m fascinated by how language shapes culture and connection, and I’ve long enjoyed learning and engaging with different languages, including English, French, Greek, Italian, Spanish, and Turkish while continuously exploring more along the way. Speaking, or even attempting a local language often opens doors to richer travel experiences and more meaningful human connections.

Beyond travel, my curiosity extends widely. I’m passionate about:

  • food and cooking as cultural storytelling,
  • art, design, and architecture,
  • technology and innovation,
  • lifelong learning and reading across disciplines,
  • music and creative expression,
  • wellness and alternative approaches to health,
  • and understanding how seemingly unrelated ideas connect.

That curiosity is also part of my life philosophy.

I believe life is meant to be lived with intention, openness, and continual discovery. To me, an “everlasting quest” means staying curious—about the world, about other people, and about ourselves. It means embracing change, seeking growth, and understanding that every journey—whether across countries or within our own lives—has something to teach us.

Through Everlasting Quest, I share curated travel guides, cultural insights, and practical advice designed to help travelers move beyond tourism and experience places more thoughtfully. My hope is to inspire others to travel with curiosity, connect more deeply, and discover not only new destinations but new perspectives.
